Note: Not all remote control tones are compatible with every Lectrosonics device.

The Lectrosonics® SM transmitters must be configured to accept remote control tones. To activate this feature, hold down the arrow while turning on the transmitter and then select "rc on." The original SM model requires a minimum firmware version of 1.5 (released in December 2005) for remote control compatibility. The firmware version number can be checked upon powering on the unit. Any tones that are properly received but unsupported will result in a "---------" message on the transmitter display.
